The Bean - Colleague Cafeteria

The Bean is our colleague cafeteria operated by the hotel for the convenience of its colleagues and is open on a daily basis. The Bean is a cafeteria style facility that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner options. It features hot food items, a vegan or vegetarian option, pre-made salads and self-serve beverages. Gluten-free options are available upon request.
All full-time colleagues receive a complimentary meal every working day on their Bean Card. Colleagues may add more money to their card by using the coin loader located outside the bean. Additional meal prices are $5.00 each.

Colleague Services Building

The home to our Colleague Services department, this is where our new employees check in on their first day.

The Uniform Counter, Housing Counter, personal mailboxes, laundry room, Rockies Gym, and Stables Kitchen, Grocery & Bar are located in this building.

Uniform Counter

Hours of Operation are 8am – 6pm, 7 Days a Week.
We provide complete uniforms for our colleagues when required. When you arrive you will be issued the appropriate size/quantity of uniform(s) from Colleague Services based on the uniform measurement form you completed in your arrival paperwork. You are responsible for maintaining and changing your own uniform. Personal dry cleaning and tailoring is also available, please ask at the Uniform Counter for the cost.
The Uniform Counter also offers complimentary rental equipment for colleagues such as mountain bikes, SUP boards, camping gear, snowshoes, etc.

Laundry Facilities

On site laundry facilities are coin-operated, $1.50 for the washers and $1 for the dryers. A change machine is located in the Colleague Services Building.
Laundry detergent and dryer sheets can be purchased at Stables Grocery.

Rockies Gym – Lifestyles Facility

The Rockies Gym is open from 8am to 8pm each day. Our fitness facility includes a great selection of cardio equipment, free weights, cable and weight machines. Memberships can be purchased at the Housing Counter by cash or payroll deduction for 1 month, 4 month, 8 month and 1 year passes. Due to COVID restrictions, members are sent a link to sign-up for 1 hour time slots to use the facility, maximum of 4 people at a time.

Lynx Lounge, Employee Lounge

Lynx Lounge

The newest addition to our Colleague Services Building, our Lynx Lounge is a beautiful meeting room which can be rented by our colleagues for special events. Want to host a Thanksgiving dinner or special birthday? The Lynx Lounge is a perfect place to get together with your friends and take advantage of the full kitchen, dining room table and flat screen TV!

Stables Pub

Drop by Stables Pub on any night of the week to listen to some music or have a drink or meal with friends. A great place hang and participate in the many Lifestyles activities we have including Trivia, Name The Tune, and Pool Tournaments.

Stables Grocery

Our Stables Grocery outlet is exclusive to our own colleagues and consists of a small grocery selection, eat-in and take-out menu.

You can purchase grocery items, fresh fruits and vegetables year round.

Staff Housing

Subsidized on-site, furnished accommodations for colleagues and managers at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. This perk provides our colleagues with the convenience of living only minutes from work and all of the incredible recreational activities in Lake Louise. It also provides our colleagues with an exceptional opportunity to save money. All units and pricing are based on availability.

Housing for Entry Level Positions (Tier 1)

Two styles of units in these buildings are available to entry level colleagues (pending availability). These four person units could consist of a dorm or two bedroom style units (shared bedrooms) that also share a kitchen, one common room area with two sofas and a coffee table, and one bathroom. Each person will have a twin bed, dresser and closet. There are also loft-style units which host two people in the upper area and three people below. These units consists of two shared bedrooms and have a balcony feature.

Rent is $133 bi-weekly.

Colleague Housing Buildings 1-4

Housing for Entry Level Positions

Each person will have a twin bed, dresser and closet.

Housing for Entry Level Positions – Dorm Style

These units are for entry level positions, and consist of 4 people per unit, with shared common space, bathroom and common kitchen.

Hector Kitchen

Housing for Skilled Positions & Tenured Colleagues (Tier 2)

These units are offered to colleagues in skilled positions, supervisory and coordinator roles. This two bedroom, two person unit consists of a kitchen, one common area with a sofa and coffee table, and one bathroom. Each person will have a their own bedroom with a queen size bed, dresser and closet.

Rent is $196 bi-weekly.

Hector Living Room

Housing for Skilled Positions & Tenured Colleagues (Tier 2)

The common area consists of basic furnishings such as a sofa and coffee table.

Management Housing

Leadership Housing Sprucegrove Building

Management Housing (Tier 3)

Three styles of these units are offered to all management positions and long-time tenured colleagues. These two bedroom, two person units consist of a kitchen, common area with a sofa and coffee table, and one bathroom. Each person will have a their own bedroom with a queen size bed, dresser and closet.

Rent is $234.50 bi-weekly.
